TT Cables, a leading manufacturer of power and low-voltage cables based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has launched a new production facility in North Macedonia. The factory, located within IGM Industrial Park in Negotino, marks a significant expansion for the company and reinforces its investment in advanced cable manufacturing across Europe.
The company is investing approximately €20 million in the new 20,000-square-meter facility. Once complete, the factory will employ around 90 professionals and operate 30 modern production lines with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons of cables. TT Cables is equipping the plant with highly automated systems that boost efficiency, flexibility, and scalability for future growth.
Situated near key transport links – including the highway, railway, and airport – the Negotino industrial park provides excellent logistical advantages for regional and European distribution. The new facility integrates sustainable manufacturing technologies, helping TT Cables reduce environmental impact while meeting growing demand for signal, control, and instrumentation cables.
The new factory will join the larger IT Cables Group, which employs more than 400 people and distributes its products in over 50 countries. The Group includes regional subsidiaries such as TT Cables Nordic UAB (Lithuania), TT Cables GmbH (Austria), TT Kabeli doo (Croatia and Serbia), and TT Kabeli doo Bosna and Herzegovina. The new Macedonian entity, Kabeks Kables dooel, will strengthen the Group’s footprint in Southeast Europe.
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Široki Brijeg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, TT Cables continues to grow through innovation and investment. Company leaders believe the new North Macedonian plant will become a cornerstone for future expansion. Construction and equipment installations are already in progress, with the factory expected to open in the second half of this year—ushering in a new era for the TT Cables Group.
