LS Eco Energy, led by CEO Lee Sang-ho, has announced two new cable supply contracts in Denmark. The company will deliver high-voltage cables for a North Sea wind farm project and provide extra-high-voltage cables to Energinet, Denmark’s national transmission system operator.

The first contract, worth approximately $13 million, involves supplying 220 kV underground cables for the 1 GW Thor Offshore Wind Farm, which will be Denmark’s largest offshore wind project. Located 22 kilometers off the North Sea coast, the project will enhance the region’s renewable infrastructure and is scheduled for completion in 2027.

The second contract, valued at $30.5 million, comes from Energinet, which manages Denmark’s 400 kV national electricity and gas transmission grids. The system operator also oversees the 132 kV, 150 kV regional networks and the HVDC Great Belt Power Link, connecting the nation’s key energy systems.

Since 2017, LS Eco Energy has exported cables to Denmark, becoming a reliable supplier in the Danish high-voltage cable market alongside its parent company, LS Cable & System. Founded in 1996 to enter Vietnam’s domestic market, LS Eco Energy now exports globally, with Europe and North America accounting for 30% of its revenue.

CEO Lee Sang-ho noted that “demand for electric cables keeps rising worldwide due to offshore wind projects, power grid upgrades, and data center expansion.” LS Eco Energy continues to strengthen its position as a trusted provider of high-performance cable solutions that support global renewable growth.
