The Amphenol Vietnam plant has officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City, marking a major step in Amphenol Corporation’s global expansion strategy. The new facility will reach full operational capacity by the end of this month, increasing the company’s presence in Asia and boosting its RF and broadband production capabilities.

The new operation, known as Amphenol RF Vietnam Company, sets an ambitious revenue goal of $20 million by the end of next year. According to the company, this milestone reflects Amphenol’s strong confidence in the Vietnamese market and its ongoing commitment to sustainable long-term growth.

Bill Callahan, Group General Manager of Amphenol’s RF, Optics, and Broadband Division, highlighted the company’s decision to invest in Vietnam after recognizing the energy and talent of the local workforce.

“When we started five years ago, it was just before Covid,” Callahan recalled. “Despite the travel restrictions, our Vietnam team made it happen. Their resilience and work ethic truly define the spirit of Amphenol.”

Amphenol reported $12.6 billion in sales for 2023 and employs over 95,000 people worldwide. With the launch of the Amphenol Vietnam plant, the company strengthens its manufacturing network and continues meeting global demand for RF, optics, and broadband connectivity solutions.
