Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA Tarboro wooden reel capacity expansion marks a major growth step for the company’s U.S. operations. Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA, a subsidiary of Madem Reels Group in Brazil, expanded wooden reel production at its Tarboro, North Carolina facility to better serve cable industry customers.
The company invested about $7 million in the Tarboro project. New production lines with fully robotized machinery now increase the plant’s installed capacity by roughly 50% and improve efficiency.
Madem-Moorecraft already operates a strong logistics network with distribution centers in Texas, Georgia, Arizona, West Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina. As part of its broader expansion plan, the company is evaluating new distribution centers in Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Maryland, and Pennsylvania to move closer to key customers.
Alongside the Tarboro facility, Madem-Moorecraft also runs an industrial plant in Denton, Texas, which supports major cable manufacturing hubs. Parent company Madem Reels Group operates manufacturing plants in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and Bahrain and supplies around 200 cable producers in 45 countries.
