Winchester Interconnect Expands Manufacturing with New Facility in Mexico

Winchester Interconnect has officially opened its new Winchester Interconnect Mexico facility in Empalme, continuing its global expansion strategy. The new site increases manufacturing capacity and boosts Winchester’s ability to deliver advanced interconnect solutions to customers across the Americas.

Advancing Production Capabilities in Mexico

The new 53,000-square-foot plant produces wire and cable, cable assemblies, and coil cord interconnect solutions. Winchester equipped the facility with cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and a highly skilled workforce to enhance quality and efficiency.

“We’re proud to celebrate another milestone in Winchester’s continuing evolution,” said Steve Ball, Chief Operating Officer at Winchester. “This facility represents our commitment to growth, innovation, and customer service.”

Global Expansion with a Focus on Asia

Earlier in the year, Winchester opened a new plant in Bangkok, Thailand, to expand its production network in Asia. The Thailand facility acts as a key hub for manufacturing and logistics across the Asia-Pacific region.

Strategically located near major transportation routes and ports, the site allows Winchester to deliver products faster and more efficiently to regional customers. “With the opening of our new facility in Thailand,” Ball noted, “we are expanding our capabilities and supporting customers as they grow throughout Asia.”

Driving Growth Through Winchester Interconnect Mexico Facility

By opening new plants on two continents, Winchester continues to strengthen its global supply infrastructure. The company’s investments in advanced technologies and regional operations underscore its dedication to delivering reliable, high-performance interconnect solutions worldwide.
