Aurora Material Solutions, LLC (Aurora Material Solutions), a leading polymer compound manufacturer, has completed a major expansion at its Streetsboro, Ohio, facility. This milestone follows Aurora’s March acquisition of EnCom Polymers, strengthening its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.
The Streetsboro plant expansion adds more than 140 million pounds of compounding capacity, bringing new jobs to the community and supporting Aurora’s continued growth alongside its customer partners. As the company’s largest facility, it also houses Aurora’s rigid PVC technical center.
“Our goal is to be our customers’ first choice for polymer solutions,” said Darrell Hughes, CEO of Aurora Material Solutions. “This expansion empowers us to grow together with our customers while maintaining exceptional quality and industry-leading turnaround times.”
Earlier this year, Aurora introduced AuroraEcoplast™, a line of recycled and sustainable material solutions. The company also achieved +Vantage Vinyl Gold compliance, a sustainability certification from the Vinyl Sustainability Council, verified by GreenCircle Certified auditors. This achievement underscores Aurora’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable innovation.
In March, Aurora changed its name from Aurora Plastics to Aurora Material Solutions, reflecting a broader mission to expand beyond traditional polymers and deliver advanced material technologies for evolving markets.
With its growing portfolio, expanded production capacity, and sustainability leadership, Aurora Material Solutions continues to set new standards in the polymer industry.
