Tele-Fonika Cable Americas, a U.S. subsidiary of Poland’s Tele-Fonika Kable S.A. (TFKable Group), will invest $365 million to open its first manufacturing plant in the United States. The project marks a major step in expanding the company’s North American presence.
New Facility Planned for Waller, Texas
The company chose a 117-acre site in Waller, near Houston, for the new facility. It will produce wire and cable products for the power, telecom, energy, and industrial markets. The plant will support both U.S. and international customers.
Tele-Fonika Cable Americas estimates the project will create about 75 permanent jobs, boosting manufacturing employment in the region.
Investment Timeline and Tax Incentive Application
Tele-Fonika Cable Americas filed a state tax abatement application in August to secure a 10-year incentive from 2030 to 2039. The company said the tax relief will help make the project financially sustainable.
If approved, construction will begin in 2026 and continue through 2029, when operations are scheduled to launch. During that time, the company plans to invest roughly $150 million in site development and equipment.
Expanding TFKable’s Global Reach
The TFKable Group operates six manufacturing plants across Poland, the U.K., and Serbia. It supplies more than 90 countries through its global distribution network.
Currently, U.S. operations focus on sales and distribution. However, the Texas plant will shift the company’s role toward domestic production, reducing shipping times and improving service for local customers.
This investment strengthens TFKable’s position in the growing North American cable market and underscores its commitment to U.S. industry growth.
