Prysmian Group announced the completion of its acquisition of Encore Wire Corporation, originally revealed on April 14. This major transaction enhances Prysmian’s leadership position in the North American energy and telecommunications cable markets.
According to Prysmian’s press release, the acquisition allows the company to expand cross-selling opportunities, gain operational efficiencies, and integrate Encore Wire’s advanced production and distribution processes. It also increases the strategic importance of North America within Prysmian’s global footprint.

The combined business brings together Prysmian’s global expertise and Encore Wire’s innovative, cost-effective manufacturing model. Together, they will accelerate the electrification and digital transformation across North America, supporting the rapid growth of data centers, renewable energy projects, and power grid modernization.
