R&L Spring Company™, a leading U.S. manufacturer of precision springs, coils, and wire forms, has opened its third facility in Wisconsin, located in Elkhorn. The 50,000-square-foot plant expands production capacity and strengthens the company’s ability to serve customers across multiple industries.
Company President Julie Arenz said the expansion demonstrates R&L Spring’s long-term commitment to growth and quality manufacturing. “Opening our third facility allows us to meet rising demand while preparing for future expansion plans,” she explained in a press release.
R&L Spring now operates three locations in Wisconsin, including two manufacturing plants in Lake Geneva that collectively offer over 220,000 square feet of capacity. These plants also support the company’s Medicoil™ Division, which began in 1992 to address the specialized needs of the medical device market. Medicoil™ has since become an industry leader in producing micro-precision coil and wire-formed products for medical applications.
The family-owned business has delivered over 53 years of precision engineering expertise in spring, coil, and wire form manufacturing. R&L Spring custom-produces components for original equipment manufacturers in the powersports, automotive, medical device, and general industrial sectors.
The new Elkhorn facility strengthens R&L Spring’s foundation for sustained growth and enhances its capacity to produce high-performance components for customers around the world.
