The company has added two new laboratory lines for LAN cable and fiber optic cable production at its headquarters in Austria. This improvement enhances in‑house research, testing, and customer collaboration for high‑performance cable solutions.
The first of the two laboratory lines focuses on loose tube production. Designed for improved fiber optic cable manufacturing, the line incorporates advanced features that boost quality and productivity while reducing scrap.
Compact and efficient, it achieves speeds of up to 1,200 m/min. Visitors to the Austrian facility can now see the line’s performance in action, including an enhanced fiber cutter, optimized jelly‑filling, and a high‑speed cable drying system. These new capabilities help Rosendahl Nextrom push the boundaries of fiber production precision.
The second new system is a high‑speed insulation line dedicated to Cat. 8 LAN cables. This line includes a robust four‑extruder group equipped with high‑precision gas dosing technology. It also features a specialized cooling zone and an automatic take‑up station capable of reaching 2,500 m/min.
With these new capabilities, Rosendahl Nextrom enhances its research capacity and strengthens its leadership in LAN cable technology innovation.
