Cavel Srl., an Italian manufacturer of specialized coaxial, LAN/Ethernet, and video surveillance cables, has formally joined the Italian Cable Group (ICC). This strategic acquisition boosts ICC’s innovation and service capacity, integrating Cavel’s UL-certified, RoHS, and CE-marked products into ICC’s global supply network for power, utility, and specialty cable solutions across Europe and the Americas.
Prysmian awarded framework agreement from Terna to improve the Italian power grid
Prysmian has secured a three-year, €382.5 million framework agreement with Terna to supply and maintain high-voltage HVAC cables for Italy’s transmission grid. The project supports the European Green Deal, with production centered at Prysmian’s expanded Pignataro Maggiore facility in Campania.
