WAI will hold the Points Meeting for Wire Expo 2026 on Oct. 2 at its Madison, CT, headquarters, launching exhibit space selection for the May 6–7 event in Milwaukee. The system rewards long-time supporters, with strong participation and a sellout at the previous expo.

The WAI and WHMA will co-locate Wire Expo and EWPTE on May 6–7, 2026, at Milwaukee’s Baird Center. This strategic reunion offers attendees cross-sector access to technologies, partnerships, and educational sessions across the full wire and cable value chain, reinforcing global industry collaboration and innovation.
At Interwire 2025, WAI’s BoD continued planning for the association’s future

At Interwire 2025, WAI’s Board advanced its Centennial Plan, emphasizing education, hybrid events, and digital strategy. Key discussions focused on becoming the premier technical resource while addressing workforce challenges amid retiring industry veterans. Four training courses are now available to support industry skill development.
